Favourites - traditional art

It's been a long since I want to write about my drawings that I haven't made nowadays, but still love them. I have gathered these!  

I worked with KOH-I-NOOR pencils, mechanical pencil, rubber, tissue or cotton buds. I used the last two for the blurred shading. That is the best methods to get realistic effect. I remember when I was highschool student, my drawing teacher said that blurred coloring is bad, the correct is if we shade by line that then we can layer for sake of darker tone. I will never agree with him. :D Not only this type exists...

And the cat series. This was my first drawing of a cat.

 The text is "目は心の鏡 (me wa kokoro no kagami)" that means "eyes are the mirror of the soul". 

I don't draw with graphite nowadays, rather with digital tablet, I will back to pencil one day. I haven't buried it, just I am interested in digital drawing now.
